St Pete Hyundai plant raises car output by 17% on year in Jan–Jun

ST. PETERSBURG, Jul 5 (PRIME) -- Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Rus, Hyundai’s plant in the city of St. Petersburg, increased production by 17% on the year to 113,700 vehicles in January–June, Hyundai Motor CIS said in a statement on Wednesday.

The plant plans to produce more than 220,000 cars in 2017. The plant is working in a stable way five days a week in three shifts, and employs 2,200 people, Hyundai Motor CIS said.
